Great session with the Alpha group, sparked me into thoughts about leadership at the moment. I have often thought it's your bloodyminded stubbornness that marks the MDHUB Mds. Got an e-mail this morning that included a quote from Calvin Coolridge which seemed to fit the bill.
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

I too was sent the quote from Calvin Coolridge - and if nothing else you have given me some comfort to know that it is not just me who is being stalked to death via Chris Cardell's Media Empire - itself a symbol of bloody-minded persistence, raw enthusiasm and a never say die attitude judging by the number of spam e-mails they send me....
